					<description>I played softball against Karen and Richard Carpenter, while they were on tour and were performing at The Garden State Arts Center in Homdel, New Jersey. Karen throw a fast pitch and I hit it right back to her and it hit her in her chest. She was laughing all the way until the group did their concert that night. I miss Karen so much, she was indeed an angel sent down from heaven to teach all of us just how love can be given to others in need.

That softball game raised alot of money, for children who were fighting cancer. I shall always love The Carpenters, for taken the time to play in this benefit game...Karen you are greatly missed honey by so many who still love and remember you!
